Design Cycle

The design cycle is a complete process to create a new product or find a solution to solve the problem. It is a long process to complete a functional and beautiful item. This process is flexible to be started in any step.

For example, If I want to create a shoe.

1. The first step is finding out the problem of why many people feel their shoes are uncomfortable and not fit for their feet.

2. After the investigation, we understand the problem is the size and the fabric of shoes. The fabric is too hard and the shape is not 100 percent fit people’s feet.

3. So, we should choose the soft fabric and adjust the length and width.

4. Investigating the ordinary size of human feet, so that we can check the exact data to make suitable shoes.

5. Starting to make shoes, find the appropriate way to produce such as the machine-making or handmade.

6. If we decide to make it by hand, we need to prepare the material and cut it into a suitable shape and sew it.

7. Find the testers to wear the shoes, and find out any unsuitable part and fix it.
